Redmi Note 6 Pro-MIUI 10 Global stable ROM update

Xiaomi Redmi Note 4, Redmi Note 6 Pro get MIUI 10 Global stable ROM update

Xiaomi's Redmi Note 4 is based on Android Nougat, while the Redmi Note 6 Pro is based on Android 8.1 Oreo.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 phones has started receiving the MIUI 10 Global stable ROM update. This update, reported by XDA Developers, has also been seen on Redmi 4X (Snapdragon variant) and Redmi Note 6 Pro, that is expected to launch in India later this month.
The MIUI 10 Global stable ROM was also made available for the Poco F1 earlier this month.
Redmi Note 4 users, though, should note that the MIUI 10 Global stable ROM is based upon Android Nougat. The phone was launched in January 2017, and featured Marshmallow-based MIUI out-of-the-box. So Xiaomi has still not rolled out Android Oreo for the older Redmi Note 4.
Users can check for the changelog through the MIUI Updater app, though they can also choose to sideload the ROM using a bootloader. MIUI 10 can also be manually loaded onto the phone, by going through Settings > About Phone > System Update > Choose Updates. After loading the update, Redmi Note 4 users will also be able to use a smoother UI, gesture-based navigation, and the revamped Recents menu.

Redmi Note 6 Pro, on the other hand, runs Android 8.1 Oreo. It is the first Xiaomi phone to feature two cameras each on the front and the back. Featuring a 6.26-inch Full HD+ IPS LCD display, the phone has a screen resolution of 2246×1080 pixels. Running the Snapdragon 636 SoC, it is based on MIUI 9 out-of-the-box and a 4000mAh battery.Redmi Note 6 Pro is available with 3GB/4GB/6GB RAM with 32GB/64GB of internal storage, expandable to 256GB through microSD support. The phone comes with vertically stacked dual rear cameras, consisting of a 12MP primary camera and a 5MP depth-sensing secondary camera. It also comes with 20MP+2MP front cameras placed on the display notch.
